Asshat Of The Week

And this week's award goes to...

Morgan Spurlock!

If you don't recognize the name, he is the Oscar-nominated producer of the documentary Super Size Me--a film about the dangers of a diet consisting of food from McDonalds.

He was recently asked to speak at a health fair at Hatboro-Horsham High School in Pennsylvania.

Spurlock delighted most of the student body with his racist imitation of an Indian cashier at McDonalds, joked about dope-smoking teachers, dropped multiple f-bombs, and then delivered the coup de grace---mocked children who have disabilities by calling them the "retarded kids in the back wearing helmets".

Teachers escorted the special education students who were attending the event out of the forum, and Spurlock's speaking engagement scheduled for the community later in the week was cancelled.

The Asshat was baffled by the school's response, claiming he "has made similar comments at other educational establishments".

Spurlock remarked, "The greatest lesson those kids learned today was the importance of free speech."

Which of "those" kids are you talking about, Shithead?

The ones wearing the helmets?

Oh Geezus. Somehow I missed this news, which is good, I prefer reading it in your words.

Somehow, "asshat" seems too kind.

I read that article the other day and had the same thought.

As David St. Hubbins of the band Spinal Tap said, "It's such a fine line between stupid and clever."

Perhaps he has been partaking of one too many of those fast food jobbies himself. Or perhaps he is so far up himself that he'd better not sneeze or he'll be poohing through his nose.

By the way yes I will be armed and ready with my review this Sunday, Scouts honour Mom.

Wow. Yeah I heard about this.

You know I have no idea what to make of it. I loved SuperSize Me, not to mention it was hilarious and he's not that bad on the eyes.
But this? I mean what the fuck.

Yay, score one for free speech...I guess...

Asshat is right!!!!!

Oh, and thanks for the visual. I mean one would THINK the word asshat should be pretty self explanitory but to be frightfully honest when I saw you use it on Poop's site I was pronouncing it something like one would a German sports car.

uh-ssssott

lololol

Hey, did you get my long overdue email?

Eeek - maybe all that Mc D's grease did more damage to his brain than previously thought?! He seemed so much nicer than that in his movie.

What a colossal jerk, and the school admin should share the asshat award for even considering bringing this loser to speak at their school!

The evolution of man (and woman) is far, far from complete. The asshat gene is still much too dominant. And the empathy gene--that one needs a whole LOT of work.

Geeze, you know a lot of Kims!

I hate the word "retarded".

I can't even form the word. As a nurse I have always said "developmentally disabled" when describing a patient to another nurse, and I don't even do that unless it is crucial to the care of the patient.

{shudder}And it's never been used in my house, either....

Asshat, much, much too kind. Hopefully this unfortunate school was able to spread the word and keep him from hurting even more kids. How has he gotten this far, I'd love to know. I never got around to renting Super Size Me. As much as I think I want to see it, I will refrain. I don't want to spend a penny on this hidious excuse for a person.

It's bad enough when people innocently but hurtfully insult an undeserving person. It's unforgivable when someone does it on purpose. It's even more unforgivable when they offer stupid excuses for it.

Oh, shit.
What an idiot. Well, it just goes to show why 'resting on your laurels' and depending on your charming personality is a big mistake.
What a scuzzbag.
