Why is it....
That in the summer, when the temperature in your house is 62 degrees it feels perfect... but in the winter, 62 degrees in your house is cold as hell? Inquiring minds and all...

I was JUST thinking that last night as I hunkered down under four blankets...
I wonder that myself because I am freezing my a** off in this house. Getting out of bed was close to torture, don't even want to discuss the shower. I swear icicles were forming on my body. It doesn't help my husband is obsessed with saving money and can tell every time when I inch it up a few degrees . The battle of control continues, it's going to be a long winter. The opposite occurs in the summer with the a/c, he just doesn't get it. LOL.
62 is cold period, Summer or Winter. i set the thermostat at 70.
And then the furnace broke last week. So DH had to get up on the roof and sweep the chimney and cut some wood so we could at least keep warm until he gets the part to fix it. Should be here tomorrow. Fortunately we don't live in the midwest where they are experiencing the Polar Vortex.

How did I never think of that before?!?! You are so right.
Of course I'm sitting here wrapped in flannel pjs, a heavy bathrobe and a blanket and I'm STILL cold.
Sheesh.
