Falling Back Into a Routine...

Big Kid and I started back to school yesterday, and have a couple of ducks to line up and kinks to work out for the new semester. I thought I'd share these links that I found interesting reading.

Is a dog's mouth really cleaner than a human's even if it eats its own doody?

Check out The 20 Most Popular Myths in Science.

The Beast's 2006's 50 Most Loathsome People in America is worth an eyeball too. You might not agree with all their picks, but I must say that they're equal opportunity bitch-slappers and hilariously spot-on in many cases!

Have a great (and warm) day!

K..first that picture looks like my usual bad hair day.( which is every day) LOL...

Dog's mouths are disgustingly dirty ...and yet.even when I know this to be true...I still allow my little dog to lick my face every so often...clearly humans are not so smart!!!!

I'm about the check out that site. My dog likes his "doody" frozen - and frozen it is right now.

I'm back. "Just different" huh? Not cleaner. That's not much of a comfort. Should have known. No more kisses 'til spring thaw.

The only "doody" my dogs have ever liked to eat .was the "cat box crunchy " kind of doody...ewwwwwwwww....

Glad we found a way to stop that bad snacking habit LOL

Here is a quote from the Urban Legends website that should go a long way to clearing things up....

"A dog's mouth contains a lot of bacteria," notes Dr. Gary "Ask the Vet" Clemons. "Remember, a dog's tongue is not only his wash cloth but also his toilet paper."

My son's hair is increasingly coming to resemble your dog's. I keep threatening him with the clippers but he's adamant he wants to grow it longer for a while.

Okay, just checked out that site. How nerdy is it that I've have many long and heated discussions about one of the questions there - do you get less wet if you run in the rain than if you walk? Geez, thank goodness blogging came along and gave me a hobby!

The first link was VERY cool. The second one jumped the shark the 3rd or 4th one in....

Good luck on the school work! To both of you.

Hi Attila,
Your dog’s “do” is electrifying, literally! This is a fantastic post…I particularly enjoyed the “50 Most Loathsome People in America”. They’re all equally deserving of a mention in the Hall of Shame.

Good luck getting back into the swing of College this semester!

I'm a little unclear, is that a dog or a muppet?

He's ridiculously cute and I keep waiting for him to burst into song.
