A Little Perspective...

Just when I've been feeling a bit stifled in my own little universe, something comes along to give me some perspective.

Check out
A Spot on the Sun.

That was awesome! I had a look at the lightening photo link on the same page too.

I also read about the escaping baby. Wow, the angels were looking out for the little fella for sure. I know how fast they can get away, my son used to keep me running constantly, but never for 6 blocks!I'll bet that momma will think twice about medicating herself while the baby is awake, huh?

What's that other speck? An astronaut falling away, possibly sabotaged by HAL2000?

Me bad, I think it was actually a HAL9000 in 2001. Sigh. My nerdy boyfriend's asleep & I can't get references right without him!

Okay I must be completely stupid because I don't get the picture. It looks like a scratch on the sun, what is it supposed to be?

Yes I realize explaining this is probably going to make you think about what lkind of idiot I am but alas I am lost!

I looked at it again and I see what it is supposed to be, but it just doesn't look like it to me...
