Stupid for Breakfast

Guess who ate a big, steaming bowl for breakfast? We ought to make it official that people who create these kind of signs at least know how to spellz gude.

And which "America" is she talking about? North America? South America?

Let's run right down and insist those Guatamalans speak English only, why don't we? What about those people in Quebec? No French for them!

Sheesh. I actually feel a little embarassed.

I feel sad for her too. BUt I do understand the frustration that probably drove her to make this sign...

Oh man. I cringe. I yelled at her people this morning while listening to NPR while dropping off Mr. G. It's a painful thing.

Where on Earth do you get the signs for your posts? I loved the April 4th posts picture of the guy holding the sign that said "Get a brain Morans" You kill me Attila! Happy Cinco de Mayo? My hubby works with some Spanish speaking people and I could teach you some cuss words in Spanish if you'd like!! LOL!!

OOps this part of my comment got cut out...
I was at a peace rally... Geez,a long time ago...(when I was a teen)
And a gal pal of mine got on the megaphone and had the whole crowd charged...
And then she screamed... Give me a P...P
Give me an E...
E!
Give me a C...
C?
Give me and E!
And I shout Pauline, You spelt PEACE wrong!!!
It is still a thing that we can giggle about today...

I can understand her use of America on her sign, the whole world refers to us as "those Americans", or "Yanks", but dammit, it's so unamerican not to be able to spell
official. hahahahaha

Magic Markers apparently don't have spell check. :-)

Vomitous is how this makes me feel. To think you would spend a day protesting over this.

Hooked on Phonics didn't work for her.

I see the same things up here, from people defending the French language wand yet they can't even write or speak it properly... makes you wonder!

stinkypaw said...

...just like I can't spell and proof read! ;-)

I guess I just don't see the point in declaring an official language within the United States.

Frankly, this lady could care less about official languages. It's a direct jab at immigration.

What's next, declaring the official 'race' of America to be white? Bleh.

So what is the offical lingua franca...?

I agree - it is pretty embarrassing to know there are adults like that in this world. It's like "Oh, SO sorry that we're trying to accommodate foreigners in our country by allowing them to speak their native language."

Geez.

WOW. I am speechless. Funny, but sad.
XOXO

I agree.....couldn't they check each other's signs before they went out to protest?

Then again.....I have proofread a thing or two and missed an obvious mistake....ONLY that one time! :)
