Talk about my worst nightmare come to life!Over the years, my kids have had several ear infections. I've had a couple of myself. I think it's one of the most painful childhood illnesses to have.
Recently, Oregon mom Diane Courtney took her son to the doctor for an earache. The doctor examined him, and thought he could see something stuck down there. So he flushed the ear out.
It was spiders. Two of them. Well, one was dead, but still. They were the size of pencil erasers and had been attempting to make a nest.

I'm going to start sleeping with earplugs. Seriously. This scares the crap outta me.
