Rule #15 Don't Let Hubby Take Dogs to the Groomer

With all the drama surrounding Big Kid's latest illness, I had to get Hubby and the other guys to help pick up the slack.

One of these chores was taking the dogs to the groomer to get their summer cuts. Since there are 4 dogs, I scheduled 2 one day, and 2 the next.

This is why you don't let Hubby take the dogs to the groomer. He walked out of the house with a couple of yorkies---Molly-Poo and Stinky Pete--- who looked like this:

And came back with a Chinese Crested and a Chihuahua.

Molly-Foo Young

Stinky Pedro

Guess who spent the night in the doghouse?

Aack!
Was this done by a groomer-in-training? What terrible haircuts. They don't even look like the same dogs. (They are the same dogs, aren't they? LOL)

Oh well, hair grows. In a few ... months, they'll be back to normal.

They look like they were done, in the words of my #2 daughter, by a blind man with a machete!

Was it one of those self-styling dog salons? Yipes!

Poor dogs! I hate taking mine to the groomers too... Teddy was injured last time.

I think Stinky Pedro is adorable... by it might be his name (So, I'm bious!).

My mom let me ONCE go to get a hair cut with my father. I was six and had long hair below the belt. He took me to his barber and I came back almost shaved. My mom cried for days.

Guess his "plan" worked - you won't be asking him again to take the dogs to the groomer...ah! No worries, it will grow back!

That's so funny! Still, they do look cute.

They are still cute of course, but it looks when I tried to give Daisy her own hair grooming experience. It was painful to look at, but thankful, it grew back fast. A little comic relief around your house, is a good thing right now.

WOW. Is it wrong that I am grateful that someone else has a hubby with good intentions and bad results? Just sayin', hubbies have a way of taking a simple task and making a mess.... love 'em though....
